About Brent
Brent Kevin Ali is a seasoned Lawyer/Attorney-at-Law with over 20 years of experience of practice in the courts of Trinidad and Tobago and experience in the fields of civil litigation, corporate, commercial, and banking law. He has a unique combination of professional qualifications and international exposure that sets him apart from his peers.
Education
Brent graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies. He then became a Chartered Accountant, obtaining his designation from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. He pursued his passion for law and earned his Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados. He completed his legal training at the Hugh Wooding Law School where he obtained his Legal Education Certificate.
Career
Brent started his career as an auditor and business advisor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Port of Spain, Trinidad. In 2003 he was admitted to practice as an Attorney-at-Law in Trinidad and Tobago and commenced practice at Trinity Chambers. He then moved to London, England, where he worked as at Norton Rose, a leading international law firm. He joined Morgan Stanley, a global financial services company, as a compliance officer and regulatory specialist. He returned to Trinidad and Tobago and established his own law practice where he provides legal advice and represents clients in various sectors and industries.
